About GHMZBRI

Guang Huan Mi Zong Buddhism contains the essence of all Buddhist teachings. Its Great Perfection Dharma originated from Sakyamuni Buddha and has been considered as the supreme level of the nine vehicles of Buddhism by all esoteric masters. With over 2,500 years' history of exploration and development, it was transmitted through the centuries from master to disciple. It has not been offered to the public in the past thousands of years.

When facing the continuous strife and disasters in the world, Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi has been working as a religious leader in the past four decades, strengthening people's body, mind and soul in both Asia and America, through teaching this secret practice of Guang Huan Mi Zong Esoteric Buddhism to people openly, in order to help them attain physical, mental and spiritual health.

Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi received Abhisecana Empowerment when he was five from Living Buddha Shi Qi Ming, the Abbott-in-charge of Great Buddha Temple, and obtained direct lineage from Master Lin Chen Kharthu, the emanation of Master Padmasambhava. Holy Master has cultivated both esoteric and exoteric dharma for over 20 years and founded Guang Huan Mi Zong Buddhism in 1978. In 1982, Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi founded Guang Huan Mi Zong Wellness Institute in China. Guang Huan Mi Zong Institute was founded in Zhuhai City in 1989; Guang Huan Mi Zong (Hong Kong) Buddhism Research Institute was founded in 1995.

Guang Huan Mi Zong Buddhism Research Institute (GHMZBRI) was established in the United States on November 25, 2009 by Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, the president of the Institute. It serves as a cradle for training future professional Buddhist Preachers and outstanding leaders, who commit themselves to the mission of promoting world peace, human health and religious harmony.

GHMZBRI offers one of the most extraordinary trainings in history to develop versatile Buddhist talents in terms of academics and leadership, in the field of Buddhist art and Dharma teachings. Through the path leading to future success, potential candidates can receive the training to broaden horizons, enhance skills, and develop the Five Wisdoms. Upon graduation, they will become high-level Buddhist Preachers who are capable to adapt to the fast changing world, manage linguistic and cultural diversity in different countries, integrate Buddhist teachings into daily practice for benefiting others, and enlighten people through healing their body and soul.
